Needless to say, the days are gone when battles were fought using horse drawn chariots or horses were used in agriculture or as means of carriage. But the horse is still regarded as valuable as ever before; and even today, although horses are most widely used for personal pleasure or utilized in races, a horse's strength, speed and courage are often seen as a reflection of the status of its owner.
